Maintenance Connection CMMS Continues to Expand Into Colleges Across the Nation

Most recently, Hope College in Michigan chose Maintenance Connection to ensure that its residential facilities and educational buildings on campus are being maintained in a timely and efficient manner. The private college chose Maintenance Connection after deciding it was time to give up their homegrown Access database and antiquated email system and find a way to effectively manage work orders and assets. Another recent customer, Georgia Tech, is currently implementing Maintenance Connection in its Athletics Association to help the department keep track of its maintenance tasks including assigning and scheduling work orders and staying on top of preventive maintenance.

In addition to new college clients, longtime university customers have been seeing such successful outcomes from using Maintenance Connection that they have chosen to expand their use of the CMMS. Towson University in Maryland has enhanced their use of Maintenance Connection by adding the new MC Express mobile solution that gives technicians access to maintenance requests and information from anywhere on campus. California State University, Chico just expanded its campus-wide utilization of Maintenance Connection beyond its recreation center to its university housing and food service division which encompasses onsite and offsite university housing, campus buildings, and more. The division will be tracking work requests and preventive maintenance activities across 25 apartment-style buildings and numerous high-capacity buildings in an effort to provide better tracking and utilization of campus resources.

Maintenance Connection’s CMMS solution is uniquely positioned to manage all aspects of college and university operations. Maintenance Connection empowers maintenance personnel to extend asset lifecycles, track maintenance costs, prevent and predict equipment failures, improve labor productivity, reduce costly equipment downtimes, minimize investments in inventory, and lower the total cost of maintenance. Maintenance Connection currently is used at colleges and universities across the nation including Cal Poly at San Luis Obispo, College of the Sequoias, and Harvey Mudd College in California, Auburn University in Alabama, Eastern Connecticut State University, Keene State College in New Hampshire, and Illinois Central College.
