Balmac Inc. introduces the Model 230 Vibration Meter that stores overall vibration measurements needed to check the condition of rotating equipment. Providing your maintenance and operations personnel with this easy-to-use meter can provide an early warning of potential machinery problems before a costly failure occurs. With the Model 230 Meter the user can quickly and accurately check the machinery condition and store the measurements for later recall and analysis. The Model 230 stores a typical workday of vibration measurements.

The Model 230 Meter features a small 100 mV/g accelerometer with a magnetic base and extension probe for hard-to-reach locations. Vibration readings and stored measurements are shown on a bright backlit display viewable in direct sunlight or low light locations. The meter uses four standard AA size alkaline batteries providing days worth of portable operation. The meters auto-shutoff helps extend battery life.
