The meter, identified as the model TB-C780201, provides portable and user -friendly vibration measurement in the 10-1000 Hz frequency range. Measurement results are immediately and automatically evaluated against ISO standards. Green - yellow - red LEDs indicate vibration severity and a real time FFT spectrum is produced for easy pattern recognition. Results can be stored for documentation and follow-up. With its built-in probe, easy button operation and clear symbols, VibChecker is an all-set-to-go instrument: just point the probe and measure to locate vibration-related problems.

VibChecker is used to trend vibration levels on fans, motors, pumps, compressors and other types of rotating process machinery. Vibration monitoring is a cost-effective predictive maintenance tool. In most cases, vibration measurement can detect a problem long before damage to the machine is done. The repair of equipment failing while in service is many times more costly than planned repairs made possible through vibration monitoring.

QBC offers a wide selection of bearings of all types. Their maintenance product line includes over 400 bearing pullers, induction heaters, bearing condition monitoring tools, hydraulic tools and alignment equipment such as shaft and pulley alignment computers and much more. QBC is the official authorized stocking distributor of BETEX, BEGA’S wide range of high-quality tools for bearing maintenance in the USA. Detailed technical specifications are contained in catalog B700, available at http://www.qbcbearings.com or free upon request from Quality Bearings & Components (QBC), 2101 Jericho Turnpike, New Hyde Park, NY 11040-5416.
