The Operator Care course is ideal for maintenance and operations managers, supervisors, operations team leaders, maintenance leads and technicians. Participants will learn how to:
- Explain how an Operator Care program improves production performance and asset reliability
- Use production tracking, loss elimination data and problem solving techniques to stabilize the work environment
- Outline the critical success factors for a five-element Operator Care program
- Prepare a strategy to encourage continuous improvement and manage resistance to change
- Practice the fundamentals of value stream mapping
- Develop a master plan for an Operator Care program
“We’re very pleased to announce the new course which was developed by our high-impact learning professionals and world-renowned expert in maintenance, reliability and engineering, Joel Levitt,” said Bill Wilder, director of the Life Cycle Institute. “Joel joined our leadership team earlier this year to help better serve our customers through education and new product development.” Levitt has 25 years of experience in the maintenance field including process control design, source equipment inspection, electrical expertise, field service technician and maritime operations.
The first Operator Care course is offered February 25-27, 2014 at Life Cycle Engineering in Charleston, SC.
