[Fort Myers, Florida] – Reliabilityweb.com® has announced the winners for the 2020 MaximoWorld Awards. Open to both practitioners and vendors in several categories, the MaximoWorld Awards recognize extraordinary achievements and team accomplishments in the MaximoWorld community.
The 2020 MaximoWorld Award winners are:
Best Mobility Program: TAQA North Ltd. and InterPro Solutions
TAQA North’s original Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) tracking software was nearing its end of life and the organization decided it was time to switch software. A significant limiting factor with their original HSSE solution was its lack of a mobile offering. They partnered with InterPro Solutions with the initial goal of implementing EZMaxMobile to assist with their HSSE work. After using EZMaxMobile and seeing its potential, TAQA North is expanding their use of EZMaxMobile to other Maximo modules. In the first month of using EZMaxMobile, reporting of safety opportunities was up 100% from the previous month.
Best New Implementation: Encore Boston Harbor and Aquitas Solutions
The five-star $2.6 billion Encore Boston Harbor, owned by Wynn Resorts, officially opened on June 23, 2019. Part of being a state of the art facility included implementing the leading technology solutions available. Encore selected Aquitas Solutions in 2017 to complete the implementation of Maximo. While the project is still in progress, the implementation has met every milestone and deliverable on-time and significantly under budget.
Best Use with a SCADA Data Program: WBI Energy and Cohesive Solutions
When WBI Energy and Cohesive Solutions came together to take on this project, it was specifically designed to meet two goals: 1. Provide an integration between WBI Energy SCADA/Historian and Maximo to support operations and maintenance; and 2. Teach WBI/MDU Maximo technical support team on how to Design/Solution/Build integrations to support business needs. With the full involvement of the team, the project achieved both its goals, enabling the business to get what was needed now and the ability to utilize it as they grow their reliability program. As an added benefit, it provided a deep knowledge of the interworking of Maximo integration for the WBI team.
Best Use of Augmented Reality/Virtual Reality: Troia d.o.o
TROIA, d.o.o., was founded in 2010 and is active in the development and implementation of advanced IT solutions. Their augmented reality (AR) platform combines innovative technologies and the use of artificial intelligence (AI) elements to understand data from integrated IT systems better and help increase work productivity and safety. You can efficiently inspect, maintain, or participate in daily working activities, since additional information is available as digital content on the AR glasses. TROIA AR PLATFORM enables technicians, field workers, and remote experts to repair and maintain assets with greater safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
Best Upgrade Project: Premier Oil and BPD Zenith
Prior to the initial implementation project, Premier Oil were using a basic CMMS system. An opportunity was identified by Premier Oil to improve and integrate its key business processes. Premier Oil worked closely with Platinum IBM Business Partner BPD Zenith to implement IBM Maximo EAM in 2012. Continuous change during this project added complexity to delivery, meaning the project deliverables had to be revisited and updated to meet overall business objectives. The project was successfully completed on time and within budget in October 2019.
Winning a MaximoWorld Award brings many benefits to an organization. The awards generate internal and external recognition and program validation, foster teamwork and help acknowledge all stakeholder contributions. Winners have an opportunity to contribute to an emerging body of knowledge for effective asset management and maintenance reliability best practices, and to share program details with the global maintenance reliability community to create external knowledge sharing and benchmarking relationships.
Winners have been invited to participate in the MaximoWorld Awards Ceremony December 9, 2020 at 11:50am ET. The ceremony will be a virtual event and will feature special presentations and keynotes from Terrence O’Hanlon, CEO and Chairman, Reliabilityweb.com and Joe Berti, IBM’s VP of Offering Management, IBM AI Applications. The MaximoWorld Awards is an outreach of MaximoWorld, A Reliabilityweb Event.
