Fort Myers, FL —July 22, 2009—Maintenance and Reliability Publisher, Reliabilityweb.com announced the acquisition of Ultra-Sound Technologies LLC, a company specializing in vendor neutral educational services related to airborne ultrasound and structure borne ultrasound.

Ultra-Sound Technologies Founder, Mr. James M. Hall has also joined Reliabilityweb.com as a Solutions and Support Advocate to broaden business development and expand education services including online educational delivery, video and special events production.

Ultrasound is technology proven to enhance reliability and equipment maintenance with applications such as leak detection, bearing testing, lubrication monitoring, electrical arc and tracking detection as well as valve and steam trap testing. Industrial facilities have documented thousands of dollars in savings from detecting energy loss due to compressed air and gasses as well as losses resulting from bypassing steam traps and valves.

“Adding Ultra-Sound Technologies vast educational data and Jim Hall to the Reliabilityweb.com team is the first of many planned steps to enhance the new Reliability Performance Institute, a state of the art digital media learning center to be opened in mid-September of this year,” says Terrence O’Hanlon, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Reliabilityweb.com and Publisher of Uptime Magazine. “It is also perfectly aligned with our mission to expand awareness and to spread the word about Green Reliability to our 55,000 members and readers around the world.”

Ultra-Sound Technologies and the new Reliability Performance Institute will be located in Reliabilityweb.com’s newly acquired and renovated 10,000 square foot corporate headquarters and learning center near the I-75 corridor and Daniels Parkway just minutes from Southwest Florida International Airport in Fort Myers, Florida.

Fort Myers is home to the Minnesota Twins and Boston Red Sox spring baseball training facilities, Everblades ECHL Hockey (Florida Panther and Carolina Hurricane Affiliate) and offers some of the best sports fishing and Top 10 Travel Channel beaches in world with Sanibel, Captiva and Marco Island just minutes away. The everglades are within a one hour drive, Tampa and Miami are within a two hour drive and Orlando is a three hour drive.
