Mr. Hastings possesses over 35 years experience in the oil and gas industry with rotating and pipeline equipment. He also has a proven track record speaking at international conferences about lowering electrical energy consumption, improving tank integrity and oil movement performance in aboveground storage tanks. His extensive experience in the petro industry has garnered him countless invitations as guest speaker at worldwide storage tank and refining summits from Bakersfield, CA to Brussels, as well as speaking engagements at engineering and design conferences from Calgary to Austria.

During his tenure at Philadelphia Mixing Solutions, Chris authored half a dozen papers on side entry mixing technology and how to reduce risks of tank collapse, increase uptime and how to select the right mixer for the job for publications including Process magazine and Tank Storage magazine.

Chris is an active member of several key energy industry committees and associations such as the American Petroleum Institute (API) and attends events regularly.

He has held several positions throughout his professional experience in key activities such as senior engineering design technician, export sales engineer, sales and marketing manager.

Chris attained his education in Mechanical Engineering from South Berkshire Technical College, Newbury England, Mechanical Engineering & Production from Reading College of Technology, Reading England, as well as Business Management and International from Ashridge Management College, Berkhampstead,
