CRL 1-hr: 9/26 Introduction to Uptime Elements Reliability Framework and Asset Management System

Fluke, the global leader in portable electronic test and measurement and thermal imaging technology, introduced the TiR and TiR1 in 2008. They are designed as an affordable and complete solution optimized for building envelope, restoration and remediation, weatherization, energy audit, construction inspection and roofing applications. Thermal imagers are invaluable tools to detect moisture damage and missing insulation, find leaks in window sills and doors, identify energy losses, inspect roofing, inspect electrical and mechanical equipment and for many other everyday troubleshooting and maintenance tasks.

Fluke’s TiR1 and TiR Thermal Imagers incorporate IR-Fusion®, the user-preferred, industry leading fusion technology that automatically integrates and aligns infrared and visual (visible light) images in full-screen, picture-in-picture, or blended views for enhanced problem detection and analysis. The units can withstand a drop of 6.5 ft (2 meters), and are IP54 rated to resist water and dust. They have a full color LCD display, optimized thermal sensitivity for challenging applications in building and HVAC/R inspection work, and a temperature measurement range of -20 - +100 °C. A two GB SD card and SD card reader (USB) - for downloading images to a computer - comes with the imagers.

Readers’ Choice Award winners are directly determined by RSES Journal’s readers in the form of inquiries sent via mail, fax, Web site and 800 calls to a third-party reader-service management company. Using the reader-service numbers assigned to the products listed monthly in both the printed and Web-based versions of RSES Journal - in the form of advertisements/advertiser perks, features, product write-ups and online advertisements - the company provides a final tally for every product. The top 20 products with the highest number of inquiries are deemed the winners.
