Utilice la tecla “alt-Prtscrn” al ensamblar información de muchas fuentes para acelerar la generación de informes. Yo ahora utilizo PowerPoint como mi “borrador” para toda mi generación de informes, por las herramientas de imágenes y el procesador de textos, funciones disponibles y el recorte de imágenes, los controles de contraste e iluminación en este paquete de software, y descargo todos mis escaneos infrarrojos, imágenes digitales, resultados actuales del registro de datos, los resultados de prueba de motor disponibles en línea y "desconectado" junto con una diapositiva de la orden de trabajo ya que todos vienen de paquetes de software diferentes.

Estos informes son fáciles de mandar por correo electrónico a todos, archivar para uso futuro, y fáciles de actualizar con los resultados de la prueba “después de la reparación” incluyendo una copia de la orden de trabajo completada, todo en un paquete agradable, listo para mostrarse dondequiera, si está en el trabajo o en una conferencia de confiabilidad.
