Selección de transductores de velocidad de 4-20 mA

En la selección de un transductor de velocidad de 4- 20 mA, idealmente el usuario debe poder contestar a las tres siguientes preguntas:

  1. ¿Cuál es el nivel total normal de la vibración de la máquina?
  2. ¿Cuál es el límite para la vibración inaceptable?
  3. La capacidad de sobre-gama para tendencia, ¿se desea?

Si el usuario no tiene respuestas para alguna o para todas estas preguntas, el estándar de ISO puede necesitar de ayuda en la determinación del mejor transductor de velocidad de 4-20 mA. Máquinas más pequeñas (debajo de HP 100) se pueden monitorear usando un pico de gama de escala completa de 0.5 IPS para cubrir la mayoría de las necesidades de monitoreo y tendencia. Las máquinas sobre HP 100 serían supervisadas generalmente lo mejor posible usando un transductor de pico de gama de escala completa de 1.0 IPS.
