¿Es mantenimiento preventivo o correctivo?

Hay actualmente dos corrientes de pensamiento en el uso de mantenimiento preventivo. Una para intervención mecánica, y una que denota el mantenimiento preventivo como estrictamente dinámico (observacional).

Yo solía ser un purista: todo PM debía ser observacional, con las medidas correctivas derivadas de esta observación. Así, puede ser codificado correctamente en su CMMS como PM como lo opuesto a CM.

Además, usted entonces puede comenzar a rastrear o para calcular cuántas órdenes de trabajo fueron un resultado directo de su PM. Más papeleo, pero más certeza, y ayuda a construir su caso de negocio para un vigoroso programa de PM.
