Baker SKF's EXP4000 includes the MotorMaster+ database of 20,000 electric motors and a Payback Period calculator. The EXP4000 provides a good estimate of the efficiency of an electric motor running under load. The efficiency estimate is usually within 1% of dynamometer efficiency measurements. This efficiency estimate can be used in the MotorMaster+ Payback Period calculator to calculate and compare the payback period of rewinding this motor versus replacing this motor with a new standard or high efficiency motor.
