To get the most out of your PdM program, you must first determine which PdM technologies are best suited to predict failure modes based on the needs of your facility. It is also important to understand the applications of complementary technologies to aid in early warning. There are, though, other issues to consider before beginning your plan, for instance:

  • Available budget
  • Technology versus ROI
  • Required lead time for corrective action
