Monitoring motor bearing lubrication in a food plant with ultrasound tells us when to re-grease, and helps us avoid over greasing. It also reveals when grease has been washed down the drain.

A typical food processing plant consists of hundreds of small and mid size motors driving conveyors. Sanitation is paramount but comes with a price. High pressure steam and power cleaning can wash away the lubricant leaving the bearings to grind it out without grease. Use your ultrasound meter to reveal which bearings have been over-sanitized and under-lubricated.
