Similar to fluid level indicators, a green and red zone marked on a gauge allows instant checking for compliance without the need to know figures, which have been defined by experts beforehand. Caution! When maintenance has to replace one of these gauges, they should have the zones written down in their standards to ensure the new one is correctly marked.
