Whenever performing acoustic lubrication using an ultrasound instrument, you may find using a Button & Hook setup gives you more repeatable readings. When the hook is placed atop the button (attached to the motor or housing) and pulled into detent position, it’s now locked in.

The B&H unlike a zurk fitting gives the user a tighter fit while administering the lubrication. A tighter fit, means a more consistent reading when performing this application.
