CMC Steel South Carolina's reliability journey was started out of a need to be the low cost producer in the steel industry. A study found that their maintenance practices were completely reactive and their facilities were underutilized. In January of 2005, they began a Reliability Excellence initiative with LCE in an effort to achieve world-class reliability. Watch this video to learn more about their reliability journey and how they were able to save over $6 million as a result of PdM programs since 2012.
