Goldcorp fosters the spirit of innovation, and its main goal is to reach sustainable growth. The improvement in our processing cycle is an important part of our strategy, as a result, Goldcorp is building The Pyrite Leach Project at Minera Penasquito. This incorporation, due its operational relevance in our growth strategy, demands a detailed equipment performance analysis. The reliability of our commissioning process is improved through the incorporation of technologies that increase our equipment monitoring capabilities. Advanced technologies, such as the IRIS M Motion Amplification camera from RDI Technologies, ensures enhanced equipment monitoring and offers us the opportunity to guarantee optimal equipment performance. RDI Motion Amplification upgrades the capability to monitor the structural stability of rotary equipment installation in our new Pyrite Leach Plant. By deploying the use of the Iris M we plan to validate and commission equipment at the design and installation phase of the project. This will allow us to maximize equipment reliability, by increasing the detection of faults at an earlier stage in the DIPF curve. A survey of the new facility will be performed with the Iris M, focusing on the design and installation of equipment during the commissioning phase. The results of that study will be highlighted. In this manner, Penasquito Reliability Team incorporates these technologies and alliances into their strategic plan to ensure the new equipment has optimal performance. The team supports the corporate vision to have sustainable growth through safety and optimal operation.
