The alignment of turbine-generator sets, but also turbine internal parts alignment poses unique challenges that only the best laser shaft alignment systems and specialists can overcome. Not the least of these is the difficulty of conditions and measurements itself, as well as the methods employed in maintaining them. The intent of this presentation is to show a few of these challenges and our solutions to them.
