Penn State University, working with Starboard, an IBM Business Partner, has created a Refrigerant tracking solution within Maximo that enables cradle to grave tracking of regulated materials including inventory, work costing, fulfillment, recovery of the materials, and safety considerations for the job site. Field technicians and office staff utilize the existing out of the box applications in Maximo to record the handling and usage details which can then be reported to the appropriate supervisors, stakeholders, and agencies as required by internal SOP’s and federal regulations; no add-on products or custom configurations required!
