How to Balance at a Resonate Frequency

One of the things you run into often when you do field balancing is balancing and having a difficult time doing it, only to discover you’re trying to balance a machine that is at or near its resonate frequency point. This can be done and accomplished successfully, and it’s not particularly hard. There are a number of different ways to accomplish balancing when you have no choice but running the fan in or near resonance. This presentation covers what resonance is, why it effects balancing, and the solutions to the problem.
