Bentley Systems’ Executives and Users Will Discuss Digital Twins for Plants at the ARC Industry Forum Americas 2023, February 6-9

Bentley Systems will host a booth at the ARC Industry Forum Americas 2023 featuring PlantSight, our digital twin solution for the energy, process, mining, and water industries, and its new features that can help energy users digitally advance during the challenging transition to renewable resources.

Visit the Bentley booth to learn about the new capabilities of the iTwin Platform, which significantly extend the scope and interoperability of infrastructure data. Engineering firms and owner-operators can use the iTwin Platform to create and leverage digital twins in design, construction, and operations workflows across the energy industries, including renewables. New capabilities include:

  • iTwin Experience, a new cloud product that empowers owner-operators and their constituents with insights into critical infrastructure by visualizing and navigating digital twins.
  • iTwin Capture, for capturing, analyzing, and sharing reality data. It enables users to easily create engineering-ready, high-resolution 3D models of infrastructure assets from drone and survey images.
  • iTwin IoT, which acquires and analyzes sensor data, enabling users to seamlessly incorporate Internet of Things (IoT) data created by sensors and condition monitoring devices.

Additional information on how Bentley can help with the transition to renewables is available in The Future of Green Energy Is Now, a downloadable e-book.

Rob Harper, director, product management of Bentley’s solutions for the energy industries, will be available for interviews during the conference. He is responsible for coordinating a team of product managers that establish the direction of Bentley’s digital twin solutions for the electric power utilities, renewable power generation plants, and the oil and gas industries. Harper can discuss market drivers, user successes, and product capabilities. To schedule an interview with Harper or other Bentley executives, please contact Christine Byrne, Bentley Systems’ director of media relations, at christine.byrne@bentley.com.

In addition, Khalid Al Fahdi, acting head of integrity and reliability at OQ Upstream, will present “Digital Twins Improve Performance in Plants for Projects and Operations” February 8 at 2 p.m. He will provide an update on the significant improvements OQ Upstream has made across 44 fields through a centralized digital asset performance management system. David Armstrong, director, Bentley Cohesive Americas, will also be on a panel Q&A following the presentation.
