Job Title: Expo Assistant (Bilingual)

Location: Remote work

Terms: Contractor

Requirements:

English (Spanish optional) Good attention to detail, problem-solving, and working under pressure. Workdays: Tuesday - Thursday Schedule from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm Ecuador Time Zone Plus: Visa for travel to the United States (This position requires you to travel a minimum of 3 major events a year for 1 week at a time including weekends)

About the role:

Responsible for business development, selling exhibition booths, and sponsoring assigned shows daily. Work with the management team and follow sales strategies as coordinated to ensure sales targets are met. Ensure the company’s standards of sales performance are met. Ensure personal sales targets are exceeded. Support colleagues with the smooth running of the event as and when required.

Responsibilities:

  1. Organizing and coordinating the vendor information with the hotel, decorator, and all parties involved.
  2. Information on the expo floor must be compiled to ensure all vendors are registered at the conference and the hotel.
  3. Ensuring high-quality written process and procedures checklist with project milestones and plans to be compiled in a Reliabiltyweb.com Conference Playbook. (This is a critical aspect of your role and will be an important factor for your performance review.)
  4. Managing, coordinating, and reporting on status and timeline.
  5. Performance reporting with recommendations for improvements every month.
  6. Scheduling meetings with vendors (90 days prior, 60 days prior, 30 days prior, and 2 weeks before the conference.
  7. Scheduling interviews with the awards candidates and judges.
  8. Liaising with the key company stakeholders to ensure that their needs are effectively met.
