When traditional planning and scheduling is complete, materials have been ordered, large tools have been scheduled, manpower allocated along with the date and time alotted. The disconnect comes when management communicates to the working staff. Very little or nothing at all is passed down at least not until the day of the planned event. Even then communication between the trades or other entities are at a minimum causing confusion, wasted time, lack of efficiency a possibly lack of quality. Safety being paramount and no matter how many safety meetings you provide monthly or annually. Safety should be discussed in this event meeting. World class level teams serious about cultivating a reliability culture need to do better. This presentation will help correct this with easy, common sense steps the RCM way. At DC Water we recognize this lack of communication and currently closing this loophole with feedback from Frontline trades.

You can ask anything about maintenance, reliability, and asset management.
