In the digital transformation context, the adoption of IT tools and new technologies across all human activities is rapidly increasing, yet often lacks proper coordination. Many businesses, particularly intermediate-sized companies and large-sized companies are recognizing the urgency of completing their digital transformation, and a new CMMS, once focused solely on maintenance tasks, now plays a vital role in optimizing companies’ operations.In this presentation, we will cover all the steps taken to implement a new CMMS (SAP-PM) on multiple Steel Mills located in 10 countries, including US, Canada and Brazil, detailing the challenges faced and the actions taken to have a successful software implementation, with over 5,000 end-users trained and using the system daily.
