As our company has grown and evolved over the past 119 years, we grew comfortable in the way we managed maintenance, and we found ourselves in a reactive mindset. Realizing the need for a cultural change, we have now embarked on a new journey to improve reliability and asset management. With customers at the core, and a foundation of environment, health, and safety as a base, our new strategy model relies on people and culture in a continuous improvement mindset as keys to change.

This presentation will describe how 3M has developed and deployed its new global strategy for reliability and asset management, integrated with the Uptime Elements.
