Weyerhaeuser Company is currently recruiting for a Maintenance Manager for our lumber manufacturing facility located in Greenville, NC. As Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for all maintenance operations, including equipment safety, maximizing machine productivity and uptime, as well as the condition and upkeep of the facility.

Key Functions

Develop and manage all maintenance activities, with safety of associates being the highest priority Lead preventive & predictive maintenance/process reliability, manage improvement of key performance indicators, continuous improvement of maintenance functions, and department budget cost effectiveness Responsible for the development and training of associates including coaching, mentoring and development Participate and/or lead initiatives for capital projects and problem-solving activities Assure purchasing functions follow established policies and procedures Play a key role in supporting, maintaining, and improving processes associated with the computerized maintenance management system for process reliability Lead team meetings & trainings, identify safety, environmental, quality & production issues, coordinate activities with the production team to maximize productivity, minimize cost and reduce waste Take measures to proactively address all concerns

High School Diploma/GED (or higher) Minimum 5 years’ experience in a leadership role in an industrial environment A passion for safety and exceptional leadership capability in improving safety performance Knowledgeable in the areas of electrical, mechanical and PLC programming Proven expertise in preventive and predictive maintenance methods Knowledge of business and financial concepts Demonstrated success in managing capital projects Demonstrated results in achieving and sustaining business goals Ability to identify root cause of problems and effectively initiate immediate corrective action to prevent reoccurrence Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal and electronic communication skills Demonstrated ability to raise performance by building and maintaining positive relationships with all associates through coaching, development and instilling a continuous improvement mind-set Strong planning and organizational skills Strong work ethic, good judgment and decision-making abilities Must have track record of consistently demonstrating leadership skills as well as positive influence and accomplishments in proactively influencing safety, environmental, quality, productivity and people development Demonstrated basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Office, other windows-based programs and internet skills

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Mechanical or Electrical engineering, or related field Wood Products maintenance experience
