Higbee, (senior design engineer), will introduce the latest impeller technology to the industry, the new Advanced Hydrofoil Impeller Design, ARI-2 anti-ragging impeller. Mr. Higbee, PA PE has over 30 years engineering experience (20 at Philadelphia Mixing Higbee Solutions) with over four patents and one patent-pending on the new ARI-2 impeller design.
Jason J. Giacomelli (research and development engineer) will present two topics at the meeting: Vortex Generation with Submerged Baffles and Measurement of Wall Jets in Stirred Tanks with Varying Baffle off-Wall Clearance and Their Relationship to Solids Suspension and Cloud Height .
