Mr. Magnotti’s keynote speech will be “How to Apply the Lessons Learned in the United States’ Mass Market Demand Response and Advanced Metering to China’s Smart Grid.” Mr. Magnotti was the founder of Comverge, a cleantech startup company that went public on the NASDAQ. He will review the history and status of Smart Grid initiatives, advancements in demand response and advanced metering and share his vision on where the industry is going. He will use these lessons and show how his company’s technologies are applicable to smart grid applications of distributed generation, wind energy, and transformers through “predictive condition monitoring and smart chemistry”.
