Fluor previously completed the RL3 Common Offplot project for RasGas in 2009. For that project, Fluor trained more than 62,000 different workers at the site from 40 different countries with peak construction manpower reaching nearly 9,000 workers in January 2008.
RasGas is owned by Qatar Petroleum and an affiliate of ExxonMobil and produces approximately 37 million tonnes of liquefied natural gas (LNG) annually for export to global markets.
