Joel Levitt Joins Life Cycle Engineering’s Reliability Consulting Group

Joel Levitt will join the Reliability Consulting Group’s leadership team, focusing on expanding capabilities in training and education as well as facilitating new product development across multiple market verticals. Levitt will be a key contributor in developing policies, growth strategies and overall direction of the group.

Joel Levitt’s career includes 25 years of experience in the maintenance field including process control design, source equipment inspection, electrical expertise, field service technician, maritime operations and property management. Training more than 15,000 maintenance leaders in over 3,000 organizations across the globe, Levitt is recognized as an expert in training for maintenance professionals. As an industry thought leader, he has authored several books on maintenance and reliability topics and is a frequent speaker at maintenance and engineering conferences. Levitt will continue to serve as the president of Springfield Resources where he partners with Fortune 500 companies as a senior consultant for maintenance strategy development and implementation. He earned a bachelor’s degree in computer and information science from Temple University. Levitt is an officer of the local chapter of the Association for Facilities Engineering (AFE) and serves on the American National Standards Institute (ASNI) Health and Safety Board.

Levitt will continue to facilitate classes through LCE’s Life Cycle Institute. Upcoming classes include a Lean Maintenance course in August and a Planning for Shutdowns, Turnarounds and Outages course in October.
