PCB Showcases New Automotive Sensing Solutions at this year’s North American Automotive Testin

PCB Automotive Sensors, a division of PCB Piezotronics, Inc., featured new automotive sensing solutions and showcased technical expertise at this year’s North American Automotive Testing Expo held last week in Novi, Mich.

Products featured included the company’s full line of automotive application microphones, a new miniature precision pressure sensor for measurements in thermodynamic environments, and the company’s platinum program, which includes over 10,000 sensors in stock and ready to ship, with a lifetime warranty.

In addition, the company’s expert in microphones and acoustic measurements, Dr. Chad Walber, addressed a standing-room-only crowd of attendees during the technology roundtable sessions to share technical information on microphone anatomy and application, including direction on how to select the right microphone for a particular application.

Bill Berghoff, director of Sales and Marketing for the company’s Automotive Sensors Division, said the Testing Expo continues to be the best place to showcase the latest automotive sensing technologies, and provides a perfect opportunity for the company to connect with automotive testing community.

“We were very pleased with the stir that our products created, which tells us that this show is a great place for us to connect with those who use our sensors and instrumentation.” Berghoff said.

“Our new low microphone prices generated a great deal of interest, and our platinum stock product line was a big hit with attendees—particularly those who are looking to get the best value out of their year-end money.”

Today, PCB sells a wide variety of automotive products directly to customers from nine direct offices around the globe and through an extensive regional distributor network. To learn more about PCB Automotive Sensors, please visit www.pcb.com, or call us at 800-828-8840.
