The leader in live maintenance training expands its seminar schedule to offer training in maintenance planning and predictive maintenance management in four US cities in 2016.

TPC Trainco, a division of TPC Training Systems, recently added multiple four-day, intensive maintenance management training seminars to its roster of more than 30 courses. TPC Trainco will host the initial group of seminars in four cities across the U.S. giving clients in different regions opportunity to grow their maintenance management competency. The new Maintenance Management Basics for First Line Supervisors course will cover essential skills needed by industrial managers to plan and execute a successful preventive maintenance program.
“We developed the new course in response to customer demand for a truly comprehensive approach to maintenance management training,” said Dennis Walker, Executive Vice President of Operations at TPC Training Systems. “The proactive methods that can transform a facility -- including predictive maintenance, total productive maintenance, and maintenance planning – can now be learned in a single 4-day session. We believe that’s a first for the industry.”
TPC Trainco has scheduled the new Maintenance Management Basics for First Line Supervisors courses for the following dates and locations:
- Dallas, Texas – July 11-14, 2016
- Denver, Colorado – July 18-21, 2016
- Chicago, Illinois – August 1-4, 2016
- Baltimore, Maryland – August 8-11, 2016
In addition to the three core methodologies, the course also covers measurement of key performance indicators for maintenance management success. Students will learn how to both achieve and measure cost reduction through improved resource utilization and reduced downtime. Each participant will complete the course with a foundation for both implementing these practices and building a business case for investments in maintenance planning toolsets.
