Obviously, future maintenance will be based more than ever on predictive approach, switching from predictive to prescriptive approach, based on Artificial Intelligence.

Prescriptive analytics moves beyond predicting what will happen to what should be done. It offers information on optimal decisions based on predictions of future conditions. Prescriptive analytics often uses both structured and unstructured data to analyze the context of the underlying data and suggest optimum solutions. Presently, we have 856 equipment on PdM program; expectations are that number will grow to 1,000 by 2024.
