The premise is an attractive one, to proactively monitor the real-time operating conditions of critical assets providing you with real-time information to forecast potential failure points in order to optimize preventive maintenance and other asset management strategies.

In this presentation, we show you how to “get started with IoT” by building a compelling business case and selecting the right use case for your pilot project. In addition, we provide an overview of the Maximo Asset Performance Management (APM) applications that support IoT integration with Maximo. The presentation provides examples from a real-world project to make the concepts as accessible as possible.
